GB3AR is our 2mtr repeater sited in an enclosed site Nr Waunfawr 5mls south of Caernarfon , and interestingly only a few hundred yards from the old Marconi transmitting station. This was the groups first repeater inaugurated in 1976 and to some extent is the flagship of our Network. AR is on 145.700 mHz with its input at the usual spacing 600 kHz lower. It has ctcss and tone access and has 12.5kHz channel spacing. The original site was at Nebo near Penygroes Gwynedd. The full specification for the repeaters at this site can be found on the on the
